2008 Fundraisers and Events

4/11/08- Dublin Jerome H.S. Key Club Pancake Dinner & Silent Auction, raised about $830! This year's proceeds went to three different organizations and PAF was one of the benefitting groups.  Thanks to the DJHS Key Club for your support!

2/18/08 Scrapbook Crop-a-Thon for PA, raised $2950!  Thanks to everyone who scrapped, donated prizes, food, favors and to everyone who supported in any other way too.  We had a ball!

  • 12/31/07 Lights of Love 2007, raised $957! Thanks to all who donated!

  • 12/07 Girls Night Out, raised $250.00! Thanks again Girls!

  • 11/14/07 Pampered Chef Party, raised $207.62! Thanks Kerry!

  • 9/29/07 2nd Annual Cornhole Tournament and Tailgate Party for PAF, raised $11,382.18! Thanks to our sponsors: Bellacino's, EMH&T, Captain Carwash & Woodgamz!

  • 9/29/07 American Classic Car Raffle, raised $18,452.07! We raffled off a 1969 Corvette Stingray Coupe!  Congratulations to Grand Prize winner, Jana Brown Smith of Elgin, North Carolina and $500 Runner-up winner, Patricia Muter of Westerville, OH! 

  • 9/2/07 Seussical, River City Players dedicated their performances of "Seussical the Musical" to Gwen and gave a generous donation of $2000 to PAF!  Gwen even got to go up on stage with the Cat in the Hat!  Thanks RCP and the Seussians!

  • 8/11/07 PA Family Day, A group of PA families met in Chicago for a day of fun and new friendships.

  • 7/14/07 Zach & Sydney Yavitch's Snack Stand, raised $150! Thanks Zach & Sydney (Gwen's young friends), you guys are so thoughtful!

  • 7/14/07 Neighborhood Beautification Day, raised at least $2800!  Voluteers helped at the Preserve and Woods at the Preserve (Jen & Tom's community) as they painted and repaired mailboxes and picked up trash while raising funds for PAF!

  • 6/18/07 Pampered Chef Online Party, raised $239!

  • 6/9/07 Tom Waits-A-Thon, raised $500!

  • 6/1/07 Eli "Pinnery" Elementary Bake Sale, raised $124! Thanks to Shannon Price, wife of Tom's student teacher, who was the creator/organizer for this fundraiser, which will be put on by her class.

  • 5/12/07 Lowe's Perfect Flame Grill Raffle, raised $1211.00! Congratulations to our winner, Dennis A. DiMartino, from Boardman, OH!
  • 5/12/07 Squirrel Scramble for PA, raised $2965! Riverside Golf Club, Mason, WV

  • 4/13/07 Max Chambers' 4th Birthday Party, raised $95! Thanks Max for collecting donations for PAF in lieu of receiving your own birthday gifts! We appreciate your generous, giving heart and are so honored that you thought of Gwen and all of us! Happy Birthday!

  • 4/6/07 Dublin Jerome "Make-A-Wish" National Honor Society Coin Drive, raised $500! 

  • 4/2/07 Gwen's Tourney Madness! Raised $340, and the winner is Dublin Jerome HS teacher Dave Stroh and son Andrew!  Dave and Andrew won an autographed Thad Matta basketball and a "Wall to Wall Sports" audience certificate!  Click here for the final standings.  Thanks for playing everyone!

    3/23/06 Dublin Jerome Celtic Key Club Pancake Dinner and Silent Auction, raised $827 for PAF! Thanks Ben!

  • 3/22/07 Autographed Thad Matta Coaches Chair, went for $410 and the winner, Randy Wilcox, is making up the difference to make it a $500 total donation! Thanks Randy! Your heart is so big!   • 3/07 Dublin Jerome Business Department Candy Sales, raised $103.53!

  • 3/5/07- 3/9/07- 1/4 Mile of Quarters, $580.88 donated to PAF by the Dublin Jerome HS Biology Club. The Biology Club collected quarters during lunches for a week to meet a goal of a quarter mile of quarters. 

  • 2/22/07  Second Scrapbook & Crop Day at Archiver's, Thanks to your donations, $1777 will be donated to the PA Foundation!  Click here for details about the past event.  Keep watching for the next scheduled  Scrapbooking event!

  • 2/5/07  Max & Erma's Day, $868.88 donated to the PA Foundation! Here is a message from Matt Petit, LSM Assistant for Max& Erma's: "WOW!!! Your organization generated $4,344.40 in sales on Monday. That gives you a donation amount of $868.88. This is the highest total I have seen in a very long time."

  • 1/19/07  Columbus Blue Jackets honored us during the game for our efforts to raise awareness & funds for the PA Foundation.  Blue Jackets Community Teammate, presented by bd mongolian barbeque

  • 1/8/07 OSU National Title Game: Buy-a-square, $1000 raised
